Zach is the Founder and Managing Partner of Trident Capital Partners, where he leads the firm's real estate investment and development strategy. As a sponsor, he has directed the acquisition and development of more than $55 million in transaction volume, delivering multiple successful exits with above-market returns for his partners. Zach brings a disciplined, analytical approach to structuring investment deals, combining rigorous underwriting with creative capital strategies to maximize value for his partners.

In addition to Trident, Zach is an Owner and Partner of M2 Steel, a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) company that designs, engineers, and installs structures across the South.

Zach began his career in New York as an analyst executing M&A transactions for biotech and pharmaceutical companies, where he developed the financial rigor and deal structuring expertise that define his work today. He later transitioned into commercial real estate as a broker specializing in new construction leasing before focusing on multi-tenant retail investment sales, where he was part of a team that transacted over $300 million in commercial sales across the South. Zach's lifelong exposure to the industry — growing up alongside his father, a seasoned real estate developer — instilled an early appreciation for what it takes to build lasting value in real estate.

Zach holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Liberty University and serves on the Advisory Board of Worthington Bank.

Eric Johnson has a rich history in construction with over 35 years of industry experience. He started his career in single-family home construction and later moved on to commercial construction and development for larger-scale projects.

Eric's experience and projects speak for themselves. As a Principal of a Development & General Contractor firm, he completed projects in excess of $350 million in total project size, across a diverse portfolio that includes multi-family, retail, custom single-family homes, and master-planned communities and resorts. His reputation with owners and subcontractors across operating markets has led him to complete projects totaling more than $400 million in value for the private sector over his career.

Eric is Partner and President of Trident Construction, the construction arm that handles all aspects of Trident Capital Partners' developments from groundbreaking through delivery.
